FAQ: Peptide Ordering in Canada
What is the purity level of your research peptides?
Every peptide batch undergoes HPLC and Mass Spectrometry (MS) verification to ensure purity exceeding 99%. Certificates of Analysis (COA) are available for all research materials upon request.
Are DurhamPeptides products safe for human consumption?
No. All products offered are strictly for laboratory research and development (R&D) purposes only. They are not intended for human consumption or therapeutic use.
How should research peptides be stored after delivery?
To maintain biological stability, lyophilized peptides should be stored in a cool, dry environment. For long-term viability, we recommend storage at 2°C-8°C in a laboratory setting.
Are third-party lab results provided for?
Yes. Providing transparent technical data is central to our mission. Researchers can request digital access to Certificates of Analysis confirming purity and mass
Can I modify or cancel my order after submission?
Orders can be modified within a 24-hour window before laboratory processing begins. Please contact support immediately if an adjustment is required.
What are your standard shipping times within Canada?
We offer Express shipping as standard, with typical delivery across Canada ranging from 1 to 3 business days. Tracking details are provided instantly upon dispatch.
Is same-day dispatch available?
Orders placed before our laboratory cutoff time (2 PM EST) are typically processed and dispatched on the same business day to expedite your research timelines.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Interac e-Transfer (with Autodeposit for instant confirmation), debit cards, credit cards, and cryptocurrency. No subscriptions, hidden fees, or recurring charges. For Interac e-Transfer, funds are sent to orders@durhampeptides.ca.
How do I reconstitute peptides?
Peptides are supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form and require reconstitution with bacteriostatic water before laboratory use. Using a sterile syringe, slowly inject the bacteriostatic water down the inside wall of the vial — do not spray directly onto the peptide powder. Allow the solution to dissolve naturally without shaking or agitating. Once fully dissolved, store the reconstituted solution at 2–8°C and use within 30 days.
How long do peptides last after reconstitution?
Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, peptides should generally be used within 30 days when stored at 2–8°C. Unreconstituted lyophilized peptides stored properly at 2–8°C in sealed vials can remain stable for 12–24 months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles with reconstituted solutions.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
At this time, Durham Peptides ships exclusively within Canada via Canada Post Xpresspost. We do not currently ship internationally. This allows us to guarantee delivery times of 1–3 business days without delays.
What's the difference between BPC-157 and TB-500?
BPC-157 and TB-500 are both research peptides studied for tissue repair, but they operate through different mechanisms. BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide derived from gastric juice proteins, studied for its effects on angiogenesis, fibroblast migration, and gut protection. TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) is a 43-amino-acid peptide studied for its role in actin polymerization, cell migration, and systemic tissue repair. Researchers often study them together as the "Wolverine Stack" for their potentially complementary mechanisms.
Are your peptides tested by a third party?
Yes. Every batch is independently tested by Janoshik Analytical, one of the most respected independent peptide testing laboratories. Each product undergoes HPLC purity analysis and mass spectrometry identity confirmation. Certificates of Analysis are available upon request and can be independently verified directly through Janoshik's verification portal.
What is the Wolverine Stack?
The Wolverine Stack is a pre-blended research peptide combining BPC-157 (5mg) and TB-500 (5mg) in a single vial. The name originates from online research communities referencing the fictional character's regenerative abilities. It is one of the most searched peptide products in Canada and is studied for the potentially synergistic effects of combining both tissue-repair peptides.
Are your peptides vegan?
Yes. All Durham Peptides products are 100% synthetically manufactured through chemical laboratory synthesis. They contain no animal-derived ingredients, no porcine components, no bovine derivatives, and no gelatin. No animal testing is involved in production. This makes them fully compatible with vegan principles.
