They act on different receptors. Sermorelin is a GHRH analog that engages the GHRH receptor. Ipamorelin is a selective growth-hormone secretagogue that engages the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R). Because the pathways are separate, researchers often study them side by side, or in combination, rather than treating one as a substitute for the other.
SERMORELIN VS TESAMORELIN?
Both are GHRH-class analogs, but Tesamorelin is a stabilised full-length GHRH(1-44) analog while Sermorelin is the shorter 1-29 fragment.
