GHRP-6 (growth hormone releasing peptide-6) is a synthetic hexapeptide, His-D-Trp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH₂, and one of the earliest synthetic growth hormone secretagogues. It acts on the growth hormone secretagogue receptor, now usually called the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a).

WHAT IS GHRP-6?
A synthetic six-amino-acid peptide (hexapeptide) that acts on the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a). It was one of the first synthetic compounds developed in the growth hormone secretagogue class.
GHRP-6 VS GHRP-2 — WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
Both are synthetic hexapeptides that act on the ghrelin receptor. They differ in sequence: GHRP-2 (pralmorelin) is a later analog in the series, with D-Ala and D-2-naphthylalanine at the start of the chain where GHRP-6 has His and D-Trp. Durham Peptides stocks both.
