Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide with the sequence Glu-Asp-Arg. It is often written as EDR, from the one-letter amino-acid codes: E for glutamic acid, D for aspartic acid and R for arginine.
It is one of the short synthetic peptides that came out of Vladimir Khavinson's research group in St. Petersburg, Russia. Epithalon comes from the same group, but it is a different molecule: a tetrapeptide, Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly.
Sizes
10 mg and 25 mg vials, each also sold as a 10-pack. Both sizes hold the same material at the same purity standard; only the quantity differs.
How it arrives and how it's tested
Pinealon ships as a freeze-dried white cake bulked with mannitol, so the vial looks visibly filled. Each batch is HPLC-tested for purity. The lot number on the label matches its report on our lab results page.
